Funeral Hospitality

Committee members prepare and serve a luncheon in Lynch Hall after the burial for parish families that request this service. Contact: Freida Heagerty

Christian Service Committee

This committee is a group of devoted men and women who serve the needs of the parish, the community and beyond.  Christian Service Committee is responsible for organizing events which raise money to distribute to various charitable organizations and for hosting social events for the parish.

Meetings are held on the first Monday of each month September-June.

Parish Mission

In an effort to promote giving of oneself through volunteerism, our objective is to connect members of St. Ann’s Parish (as individuals, families or groups) with organizations who service the poor and disenfranchised in the Syracuse area and are in need of volunteers.

We have connections with these organizations:
Bishop Foery Foundation
Brady Faith Center
Franciscan Northside Ministries
Northside CYO

Just a few volunteer opportunities:
Community Dinners with the teens at Bishop Foery
Tutoring/help with kids’ programs
Sandwich program for Assumption Food Pantry of Franciscan Northside Ministries
Doctors, nurses, lawyers and extra help at Franciscan Northside Ministries
